OPWDD is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB or NYS small business contractors to provide A/C System Replacement service to Sunmount DDSO, Bldg 5 basement. This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State Small Businesses, New York State businesses certified pursuant to Articles 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law - Empire State Development Corporation certified Minority or Woman Owned business (MWBE) or New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) only. Please provide a copy of your firm's certification documents when submitting a quote. This project is regarding the replacement of Building 5 Communication Room AC System . The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 60 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid, and Certified Payrolls must be submitted at time of completion. Refer to attached specifications for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, tools or fasteners , are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the AC replacement, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Max Gerstenberger MS2. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Removal and disposal of current damaged units. 2. Conduct an A/C assessment to determine right sizes and that line sets are acceptable. 3. Supply and install adequate new equipment following manufacturer standards, comply with NYS 2020 Codes, NYS Energy Codes and NEC Codes.
