DISCLAIMER: If you plan on bidding on this project, you MUST contact Van Cleef Engineering at (908) 454-3080 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: This project involves roadway reconstruction and drainage improvements to Tiger Drive, located within the Township of Tewksbury. The proposed improvements are funded through Township of Tewksbury Capital. Road Reconstruction involves 1,665 SY of Milling, 6" Depth, 395 Tons of HMA 19M64 Base Course, and 195 Tons of HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course. Drainage improvements include the installation of 52 LF asphalt curb, modification & reconstruction of 3 existing inlets, installation of 2 Type E inlets and 260 LF of 15" RCP. Modifications to 2 existing inlets include sawcutting of the back wall to enlarge the existing weirs. The third inlet will be sawcut to install a new connection for the 15" RCP. Finally, asphalt 'bowls' will be installed to the rear of each existing inlet to direct stormwater into the weir openings in the back of the existing E inlets. The work includes 6 CY Excavation Unclassified, 6 Tons of HMA 12.5M64 Intermediate Course, and 21 SY of Dense Graded Aggregate.
