The City of Tacoma Environmental Services Division is requesting bids from qualified contractors to furnish and install replacement commercial overhead sectional doors and hoist operators at the Environmental Services facility located at: Building A: Transmission Maintenance 2201 Portland Ave E Tacoma, WA 98421 Scope: Commercial Overhead Door Replacement Project 1. Remove and dispose of fourteen ( 14) existing overhead sectional doors, operators, hardware, and accessories. 2. Furnish and install fourteen (14) new insulated commercial sectional overhead doors and electric hoist operators. 3. Furnish and install all required tracks, springs, shafts, mounting hardware, seals, safety devices, and standard accessories necessary for a complete and operational installation. 4. Provide electrical terminations at the operator and accessory devices. 5. Test and commission all installed doors and operators to verify proper operation and safety functionality with City representative present. 6. Coordinate installation sequencing with City staff to minimize operational impacts. 7. Remove debris and leave the work area clean upon completion.
