Site work and paving for a road / highway in Randolph, Vermont. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway.
The scope of the project is as follows: A. Shim and Overlay: 1. Shim to level surfaces. 2. Overlay with 1.5" of Type III bituminous concrete. 3. Supply RS-1 or RS-1H emulsion and apply at a minimum rate of 0.04 gal/SY (0.025 on new bituminous concrete pavement). Emulsion shall be applied to all surfaces in contact with the new bituminous concrete and cold longitudinal joints shall receive a double application of emulsion. 4. *Pleasant Street Parking Lot is to be reclaimed. The Town will supply base material to improve the base, if needed. A second reclamation may be required to blend the new base material with the existing base. Then Overlay with 1.5" Type II bituminous concrete base course and overlay (wearing course) with 1.5" of Type III bituminous concrete. 5. Restore lawns and other areas disturbed by the project to a condition that matches or exceeds the original condition.
