Renovation of a municipal facility in Kirtland, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Request for Proposals for a General Contractor for pre-construction services for the Town of Kirtland. Question Deadline 08/28/2026 Questions and/or suggestions concerning this Request for Proposal shall be submitted in writing to the Proposal Closing Date and shall be directed to: Jonathan LaMone 47 road 6500/P.O. Box 1887 Kirtland, NM 87417 (505) 598-4160 Scope of work: The site must be accessible to large heavy trucks, free of items like trees, overhead wires, buildings, and construction debris. Splashpad contractor to be provided adequate space to store materials, park vehicles, and work efficiently. Splashpad slab area should be "clipped" and cleared. The subgrade should be left 11-12" below final grade and only at the location of the concrete slab. Any lines deeper than 5ft in the ground, in the splashpad area, should be installed, compacted and backfilled to Aquatix specifications before splashpad installer arrives. Any lines shallower than 3ft should wait to install after the splashpad lines have been installed. (only in the area of the splashpad) Splashpad main water supply should be brought to within 10' of Vault and installed but not completed. Roughed in line should be turned 90 degrees vertical, and either capped or covered to not allow debris inside the line. Sanitary Sewer Drain line should be brought to within 10' at depth specified on plans, and installed but not completed. Roughed in line should be turned 90 degrees vertical, and either capped or covered to not allow debris inside the line. Storm Drain line should be installed but not completed . Roughed in line should be turned 90 degrees vertical, and either capped or covered to not allow debris inside the line. Remove "unused" soils from excavations by splashpad installer. Any utility final connections will be the responsibility of the general contractor. Splashpad contractor responsible for everything after the utility final connections. Splashpad contractor while on site is to provide their own traffic control , excavation spotter, safety equipment, and all tools necessary to complete their work. A water source must be provided by general contractor and be accessible for the duration of the project. Minimum requirement for water would be a connection for a standard garden hose. Conduit and Power to the splash pad mechanical housing to be provided by general contractor in accordance with Aquatix requirements for this splash pad design and operation. For any equipment testing, final power connections must be made and working in accordance with Aquatix requirements for this splash pad design and operation. Concrete for splashpad spray area and dry apron per plan supplied and installed by splashpad contractor, dowled into existing surrounding concrete. New concrete for sidewalk, picnic pad or ADA access by general contractor.
