Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and qualified personnel necessary to perform a one-time inspection and testing of fire dampers, detectors, fire alarm systems, and life safety support devices at the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC). Services include inspection, testing, and documentation of devices identified in the facility inventory, verification of fire alarm system compliance with applicable NFPA standards, Joint Commission requirements, and manufacturer recommendations, and performance of preventive maintenance inspections to ensure operational reliability and serviceability. Work includes visual inspection of fire alarm and signaling systems, testing of fire alarm components, duct detectors, AHU shutdown functions, and all audio/visual notification devices; verification of releasing circuits and associated components; documentation of test results and discrepancies; maintenance of device inventories and testing status records; and submission of inspection and testing reports in NFPA-compliant formats. The contractor shall coordinate all testing activities with facility personnel, provide required notifications before and after testing, immediately report critical deficiencies or impaired devices, and provide a detailed inspection, testing, and maintenance program. Any repairs identified during inspections shall be quoted separately and performed only upon Government approval. All work shall be performed by qualified, certified, and experienced personnel in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and VHA infection control requirements.
