Mobilization, earthwork and grading, removal of existing sheetpile, riprap salvage and placement, construction of approximately 576 LF of rock weirs, erosion control, and related appurtenant work. The work involves general construction consisting of the following major components as shown on the Plans and specified herein . Mobilization , earthwork and grading, removal of existing sheetpile, salvaging and installation of riprap, furnish and installation of class C riprap, furnishing materials and constructing 576 LF of rock weirs consisting of 36" to 60" rock boulders and 48" to 72" flat rock boulders, and erosion control. The Owner reserves the right to delete Project elements, as determined by the Owner in the Owner's best interest, with the intent of limiting the Total Project Cost within the Project Budget. No adjustment in Unit Prices shall be considered due to any change in the Contract Quantities. 1.2 Specifications which apply Except where modified by the Contract Documents, the 2025 Edition of the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges, together with applicable supplemental specifications , shall govern the Work. Specifications and Special Provisions included in the Project Manual shall govern in accordance with references in Part 2 of this section. Permit conditions and project-specific Contract Documents govern over general references shown on the Drawings where more restrictive or more specific to the Project. The Contract Documents shall be read together, and no general note, standard detail, or standard specification reference shall excuse compliance with a more restrictive projectspecific requirement. The Work shall be performed in accordance with all conditions of permits, approvals, certifications, and agency authorizations applicable to the Project and identified in the Contract Documents. Where a permit condition imposes a more restrictive requirement than the Drawings, Specifications, or referenced standards, the permit condition shall govern. Contractor shall comply with all construction-related permit requirements assigned to Contractor in the Contract Documents.
