Reference Number 0000434513 Furnish, deliver, install, configure, test and commission audio visual and technology equipment for the East Greenwich Public Schools construction project. Located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, East Greenwich Public Schools is undertaking a district-wide construction project. This project includes two new construction Elementary Schools, and Renovations/Additions at the High School. Frenchtown Elementary School is located at 1100 Frenchtown Road, East Greenwich, RI. The new construction school will be approximately 83,364 GSF serving 615 students in grades 1-5. Hanaford Elementary School is located at 200 Middle Road, East Greenwich, RI. The new construction school will be approximately 73,598 GSF serving 492 students in grades 1-5. East Greenwich High School is located at 300 Avenger Drive, East Greenwich, RI, and is to receive selective renovations approximately 10,000 SF Addition to house the Special Education/Life Skills Suite. Construction will be completed in multiple phases that are referenced in the project schedule. The tentative schedule provided under Appendix B is to assist Bidders in planning procurement, staging and labor. Actual availability will be determined by the progress of the general contractor work and confirmed by the OPM during construction. a) Installation space is released by the construction team as work is completed. Installation timeframes are subjected to change - Bidders shall not assume a single handover date at any school. The Bidding firm should coordinate with the OPM for scheduling purposes. b) Equipment will be required on site in advance of installation. The Contractor is responsible for receiving, storage and protection of equipment, whether on site or off site, and bears the risk of loss until installation and acceptance. c) Bidders shall state on the Bid Form the anticipated lead time in weeks from receipt of purchase order to delivery for the principal equipment lines. The Owner will consider stated lead times in evaluating a Bidder's ability to meet the schedule. The project delivery method for the construction work is Design-Build. All references to CM herein shall mean Design Builder. The contract period will begin approximately in September 2026, following approval by the East Greenwich School Construction Committee and the East Greenwich Town Council.
