Manufacturers shall be an established firm experienced in the field and have been in business for a minimum of ten ( 10) years. 2. Floor Contractor/Installer Qualifications: a. Flooring Contractor shall be a firm experienced in athletic flooring field. b. Submit a list of at least three completed gymnasium projects of similar magnitude and complexity 1.03: SUBMITTALS: 1. Manufacturers Product Data a. Submit (3) Rubber Pad Specification Sheets 2. Samples: a . Submit ( 1) Sample of Rubber pad, if requested, Sample to be made by the manufacturer and so indicated. b. Submit a representative sample, equivalent to 12" x 12" of finished maple flooring. 3. Maintenance Literature: a. Submit (3) copies of "MFMA Care and Preservation of your Wood Floors" 4. Concrete Guidelines: a . Submit three (3) copies of MFMA Recommendations for correct preparation, repair and testing of existing concrete subfloor surfaces to receive replacement wood flooring. 5. Certifications: a. Suppliers shall submit certificated attesting that the materials furnished will meet specifications for grade, quality, dryness and treatment if required. 1.04: DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING: A. Delivery of Materials: 1. Materials shall not be delivered, stored, or installed until all masonry, cement inspection, removal of existing floor, bleachers, repair to any backstops, any and all overhead mechanical work to the existing HVAC and gymnasium features are confirmed complete. a . Room temperature of 55-80 degrees Fahrenheit and relative humidity of 35%- 50% are to be maintained. Ideal installation/storage conditions are the same as those that will prevail when the building is occupied. 2. In the case that the cement slab does not pass inspection for installation of new floor and requires repair, materials shall not be stored at the installation location if the moisture content of the concrete slab exceeds 4% of vapor transmission exceeds 4 pounds per 1,000 square feet.
