Refurbish one main unit thrust bearing at a time for The Dalles Dam hydroelectric facility, with options for refurbishment of up to three additional thrust bearings. Work includes refurbishment of babbitt bearings and associated components, centrifugal casting, resurfacing of metal components, precision machining, packaging, and return shipment of the refurbished thrust bearings. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and technical expertise necessary to restore each bearing to the required operational standards. The refurbishment effort will be performed sequentially, with optional bearings processed only after successful completion and delivery of the preceding bearing. The contractor shall package and ship all refurbished thrust bearings using the original shipping crates provided by the Government, with all shipping costs included in the offered price. Accelerated delivery is encouraged to support the Government's objective of refurbishing multiple thrust bearings annually.
