Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Fayette, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Extension of water main improvements including conventional trenching and directional drilling, pipe installation, and associated site restoration. Bonds: Bid Bond required (unspecified amount). The Project includes the following Work: The project involves the extension of water main improvements in the Town of Fayette Water District No. 8. The base bid of the project extends water main from Yost Road to the existing water main on the south side of NYS Route 336. Pipe installation is to be a combination of conventional trenching method and directional drill . Casing pipe for the directional drill and all other materials to be supplied by the Contractor. The 8 HDPE carrier pipe will be supplied by the Town. All restoration is the responsibility of the Contractor. This project also involves an Alternate to install 12 water main under NYS Route 96 at Leader Road. Plan sheets exhibit the scope of work for that Alternate. Question Deadline 09/09/2026 Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
