Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
Resurfacing existing hot-mix asphalt (HMA) roadways including pavement removal, patching, surface course installation, aggregate shoulder removal and installation, and traffic control. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, Performance Bond required (unspecified amount), Payment Bond required (unspecified amount). All Bids shall be submitted to the Road District on the forms provided in a sealed 9"x12" or 10"x13' envelope. The envelope shall be marked: "Sealed Bid - 2026 JAMES AVENUE ROADWAY RESURFACING PROJECT" and the name of the bidder The Project primarily consists of resurfacing existing hot-mix asphalt (HMA) roadways. Work includes, but is not limited to, one and one-half inch ( 1.5") HMA pavement removal , pavement patching as needed, placement of twoinch (2") HMA surface course, aggregate shoulder removal and installation, traffic control and protection, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the Project as described herein and in strict compliance with the Bid Documents.
