Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint Marys, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Work to be done: The work shall include the renovation and construction of a womens bathroom for the Coast Guard facility . The work shall include general construction, as well as electrical, plumbing, finishes, and fire protection improvements for the facility. The Contractor shall provide the necessary labor, equipment, materials, and any other items and/or appurtenances required for a successful and complete project. Contract time shall be 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of a Formal Notice to Proceed from the City of St. Marys. Please keep all questions in a written or electronic format. SCOPE OF WORK 1) The Contractor shall convert an existing men's toilet to a women's combination toilet & shower and carve out an area of the men's locker room to create a women's locker room. 2) The Contractor shall evaluate existing plumbing in the new women's bath to determine routing of newly created shower drains. 3) The Contractor shall cut and remove slab to accommodate for recess for shower base to slope to drain with tile finish. 4) The Contractor shall evaluate the adjacent toilet area and calculate, remove and/or replace tile accordingly. 5) The Contractor shall provide and install all finishes , including tile (floor, wall, and ceiling), gypsum board, primer, paint, and sealer, as described in the project site plans. 6) The Contractor shall remove and/or relocate existing lockers, benches , or other fixtures according to the project site plans. 7) The Contractor shall reuse existing lights and install and/or remove door frames , walls , fixtures, vanities, and other appurtenances as specified in the provided project site plans. 8) The Contractor shall adjust drop ceiling and add or remove light switches as needed, according to the floor, reflected ceiling, and electrical plans included in the bid documents. 9) The Contractor shall adjust, relocate, and/or add new sprinkler heads, smoke detectors, strobes, and emergency lights as required for 100% coverage, as specified on the reflected ceiling plan included in the bid documents. 10) The Contractor shall adjust, relocate, and/or add new exhaust fans, air supply and return vents as required for full coverage heating, cooling, and ventilation. 11 ) The Contractor shall provide, as indicated on the water supply and sanitary sewer plans included in the bid documents, all plumbing work, including fixtures, trim, accessories, and incidentals, as required for complete sanitary waste, vent, cold water, and hot water systems. 12) The Contractor shall connect all plumbing systems to site services and test for proper operation
