Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Seatac, Washington. Working plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
As of October 5, 2026, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. The City is now discussing how to repackage the project and plans to re-advertise in mid-October. The work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the RIVERTON HEIGHTS PARK IMPROVEMENTS. Specific work includes, but is not limited to, providing a new spray park, installing a prefabricated restroom/mechanical building, new pathways, a turfed play field, fencing, plantings, and installing public art and other work described in construction documents. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing to MxM Landscape Architecture and The City of SeaTac via email at tim@mxmla.com, brice@mxmla.com, and cwilkinson@seatacwa.gov no later than 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 16. Questions via phone will not be accepted.
