Installation of lighting improvements at Engineers Field. Obtain all necessary permitting (local permitting fees are waived for this project). Set up and erect safety equipment as required by OSHA. Provide adequate signage and project work perimeter protection (barrels, tape, cones, etc.) to keep the public out, avoid potential injury, and help ensure that completed work is guarded. Demolish, remove, furnish, and install the following at Engineers Field (Baseball) located at Johnston War Memorial Park (1583 Hartford Avenue) in a manner that is least impactful to the existing playing surface: Existing System Removal Remove and properly dispose of the existing sports lighting system, including poles , luminaries, electrical enclosures, and associated equipment. Recycle existing lighting components and materials where feasible and in accordance with applicable regulations. Protect existing facilities and site improvements that are to remain. Existing Infrastructure Reuse Retain and prepare the existing pole foundations for reuse, provided they are determined to be suitable for the proposed installation. Reuse the existing electrical service, conduits, wiring, and related infrastructure where feasible and compatible with the new lighting system. New Sports Lighting System Furnish and install six (6) new galvanized steel sports lighting poles, including all required hardware and accessories. Furnish and install factory-aimed LED sports lighting luminaries suitable for the intended athletic field application. Furnish and install new electrical component enclosures, wire harnesses, disconnects, and all associated equipment required for a complete and operational lighting system. Furnish and install a new lighting control and monitoring cabinet with remote ON/OFF, dimming, and system monitoring capabilities.
