Site work, paving and renovation of a road / highway in New Providence, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Road reconstruction, HMA milling and paving, full depth pavement repair, grading and drainage improvements, installation of granite block curb, driveway repairs, concrete sidewalk repairs, construction of ADA curb ramps, installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacon system, and crosswalk striping. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. The Project consists of improvements to two (2) intersections and improvements along Maple Street, from Mountain Avenue to Central Avenue. These improvements will improve vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Road alignments and profiles at the intersection of Maple Street and Mountain Avenue and the intersection of Maple Street and the Fellsway are to be altered as shown on the construction plans. New curblines are to be installed and existing driveways extended to accomplish the design. At the intersection of Maple Street and Mountain Avenue, new lane and crosswalk striping is to be painted, and a rectangular rapid flashing beacon system will be installed. The project will also include the narrowing of Maple Street, from Central Avenue to the Fellsway from 40 feet in width to 32 feet in width. Work shall also include road reconstruction, HMA milling and paving, full depth pavement repair, grading and drainage improvements, installation of granite block curb, driveway repairs, concrete sidewalk repairs, construction of ADA curb ramps, site restoration and all other improvements depicted within the Bid Documents. All work on this contract must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed Question Deadline 09/21/2026 Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the Owner's representative stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid.
