The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting proposals from consulting firms interested in the preparation of an alternatives analysis for the subject project. MDT is proposing to replace two existing timber structures in the Browning area with new bridges or culverts. The project may also include minor roadway work and approach guardrail improvements. The consultant will be responsible for providing all services necessary to complete the project design through full PS&E development. This includes, but is not limited to, bridge design; roadway design; geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design; surfacing design; survey; limited public involvement; environmental evaluation and permitting; hydraulic analysis and design; coordination with local agencies and other stakeholders; R/W design; and potentially R/W acquisition. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
