Replacement of approximately 38,000 square feet of concrete floor panels in the Main Canal. This project is within a section of the Main Canal , located approximately 6 miles northeast of Soap Lake, Washington. (See Location Map under Drawings) There are several locations along the Main Canal where panels will be replaced. The Main Canal prism was constructed with a concrete lining as shown in the drawings. The concrete canal lining has an approximately 50 foot wide floor with sloped sides. The top of concrete on the sides is approximately 23.5 feet above the floor as measured vertically. The sides are at a 1 1/2 :1 slope, horizontal to vertical. The concrete was constructed with grooves that form panels. Side slope panels are approximately 10 feet high , 12.5 feet wide and 4.5 inches thick. Floor panels are approximately 13 feet by 12.5 feet and 4.5 inches thick. The estimate of the quantity of panels in (square feet) to be replaced is stated with as much accuracy as possible, but the total number of panels is approximate only and is assumed solely for the basis of calculation upon the award of contract. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required. A Notice of Award will be issued on or about November 2, 2026. All work within the canal prism must be completed by February 26, 2027. All work related to this contract shall be completed by March 5, 2027.
