Site work and new construction of a development in Stacy, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a development.
The purpose of this project is to improve water quality in downstream lakes and rivers by construction of a settling pond/wetland in-line with Isanti County Ditch 13. The area to be excavated is 2.4 acres with a maximum depth of 6 feet. Spoils are to be spread approximately 1,500 feet from the excavation. Construction includes: (1 ) removal of 10 trees, (2) 0.16 ac of heavy vegetative clearing with tree removal, (3) 14,463 cu yd of common excavation , (4) one floating silt curtain, (5) 7,790 If of install and remove perimeter control , (6) 120 cu yd of class III rip rap with non-woven type IV geotextile fabric, (7) 1.43 ac of seeding with emergent wetland mix 34-182, (8) 0.44 ac seeding with riparian northeast seed mix 34-362 on cat 20 erosion control blanket, and (9) one lump sum of site restoration. A bid alternate is for extended vegetation management. The Bid Form (Exhibit A), Specifications (Exhibit E), and Design (Exhibit F) detail materials, methods, and labor.
