Design an anticipated 2.75-inch mill and 3.75-inch HMA overlay and limited full depth concrete repair with dowels. Additional work includes replacing sidewalks; replacing retaining walls; replacing wood posts; updating signing; resurfacing and pavement marking at a wayside; gravel shouldering; cleaning culverts; replacing culver; relaying culvert ends; lining culverts; grouting culvert joints; and pavement marking. Anticipated to be constructed under traffic in stages utilizing full time single-lane closures. 1196-01-02: Rehabilitation project to replace the pavement of approximately 6.74 miles of USH 53 NB in Washburn County. Design an anticipated 10-inch concrete pavement replacement. Additional work includes culvert work (2 cleaning, 1 embankment repair), temporary median crossovers, marsh removal/excavation, replacing all guardrail, pavement markings. Anticipated to be constructed with USH 53 northbound closure (except near STH 77 intersection) and traffic temporarily crossed over to USH 53 southbound side and bi-directional traffic control.
