Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Potsdam, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a 4,500-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
The selected contractor will provide all labor, materials (except for the pavers themselves, which the Village previously removed from the site) , equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the installation , including Preparing and grading the designated area to establish a stable, properly draining surface. Furnishing and installing appropriate aggregate base and bedding materials, including necessary compaction. Installing approximately 4,500 square feet of salvaged brick pavers previously removed from the site and supplied by the Village. Cutting and fitting pavers around existing skatepark features, curves, and irregular shapes. Providing smooth, stable, and reasonably flush transitions between the paver surface and adjacent concrete skatepark features and walkways. Providing appropriate edge restraints and finishing to minimize paver movement, settlement, uneven surfaces, trip hazards, and other conditions that could affect pedestrian or skating safety The work includes site preparation , grading, base materials, paver installation , and finishing. Contractors must comply with applicable NYS prevailing wage requirements. Preparation, grading, and installation of approximately 4,500 square feet of Village-supplied brick pavers around concrete features at Fall Island Skatepark, including site preparation, grading, base materials, paver installation, and finishing.
