The City of Auburn is accepting written proposals for the Auburn Engineering Department's 2026 Allied Road Reclamation Project. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive any informality it may determine necessary. The City also reserves the exclusive right to accept any proposal that it deems to be in its best interest. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the provided instructions, in sealed envelopes marked "2026 Allied Road Reclamation Project-Bid #2026-011." All proposals must include FOB to Auburn, Maine unless otherwise specified. Proposals must be delivered by the specified deadline to the designated address, and late submissions will not be accepted. Only proposals from vendors and contractors current on all amounts due to the City of Auburn will be considered. Questions regarding this Request for Bids should be directed to Cy Wilkinson, Project Manager, at cwilkinson@auburnmaine.gov. Questions will be fielded until 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 23 rd , 2026. The following scope of work is being proposed for the 2026 Allied Road Reclamation Project for the City of Auburn. The scope of work is a brief overview of the expected extent of work on each street included in this contract. This is only a proposed scope with associated estimated quantities. Items, extent, and entire streets may be added or deleted as work progresses or to meet the available funding for this work. Reference Appendix A for Reconstruction Plans.
