The City of Auburn is accepting written proposals for the Engineering Department's 2026 Lake Grove Park Parking Reconstruction Project. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in whole or in part and to waive any informality as determined necessary. The City also reserves the exclusive right to accept any proposal when it is judged to be in its best interest. In awarding any proposal, the City may consider factors including bidder qualifications, price, experience, financial standing with the City, warranties, references, bonding, delivery date, and service of the bidder. Vendors or contractors must be current on all amounts due to the City of Auburn prior to any contract agreement. All proposals must include delivery to Auburn, Maine unless otherwise specified. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the instructions to bidders and in a sealed envelope plainly marked for the project. Parking Lot - o Proposed Paved Dimensions: 120' x 125' o Gravel dimensions should extend 18 inches beyond paved perimeter o Construction site must be secured at all times o Remove existing pavement and subgrade for proposed build up. o Install Mirafi 600X fabric, add 12= Type D gravel, and 3= Type A gravel extending 18 inches past proposed paved dimensions o Pave 2= 12.5mm HMA, and 1= 9.5mm HMA o Stripe parking stalls o Loam and seed disturbed areas
