Site work for a recreation facility in Biddeford, Maine. Conceptual plans call for site work for a recreation facility.
The City of Biddeford, Maine is seeking proposals from qualified professional skate park design & engineering firms to conduct a feasibility study on selected sites and to provide design development services for the skate park project. The intent of the project is for the selected firm to provide the following: 1) A feasibility study that will consist of data collection and analysis to determine the best course of action in regard to skate park development for the City of Biddeford and make a recommendation of the most appropriate site suited for the Project. 2) Provide complete design services including community outreach, conceptual design, final plans and specifications, engineering cost estimates and environmental documents for installation of a skate park at firms recommended site. All questions or clarifications needed regarding this RFP should be submitted to Lisa Thompson, Recreation Director, City of Biddeford. Email, lisa.thompson@biddefordmaine.org, phone 207- 283-0841. Questions received after 12:00 pm on August 14, 2025, will not be addressed. The City desires to enter into a contract with the successful vendor with all work to be completed by December 1, 2025. If the City and the selected vendor are unable to negotiate and sign a contract, then the City reserves the right to seek an alternative vendor(s).
