The City of Brewer, Maine is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering and design firms to provide planning, engineering, and design services for improvements to the trail system at Pier Park, located along the Penobscot River waterfront. The intent is to retain a qualified engineering firm to design multi-use trail improvements that enhance public access, safety, connectivity, and environmental stewardship, while positioning the project for successful construction. All work performed must be consistent with the scope, schedule, and deliverables identified in the application and any resulting grant award conditions. The City of Brewer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities or minor irregularities, and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
