Renovation of an educational facility in Castine, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 159,000-square-foot educational facility.
**As of July 25, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The proposed scope of work includes, but is not limited to, upgrades of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and heating systems as well as some exterior work. The 160,000 square foot building will remain in service during renovations, and construction will be conducted in four phases. The cost of the work is approximately $ 26,000,000. The contract shall designate the Substantial Completion Date on or before 31 December 2026, and the Contract Final Completion Date on or before 8 January 2027.
