Scope of Work Construction Documents: o Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for Phases 1 and 2 with the possibility Phase 3, dependent on funding availability. See Concept Design and Summary for Phase descriptions. o Cost estimates at the end of schematic design and design development phase o Coordinate with necessary engineering disciplines including landscape architecture. Bidding and Negotiation: o Assist in contractor selection and bid review. Construction Administration: o Monitor construction progress. o Conduct site visits and participate in project meetings. o Review contractor submittals and change orders. Proposal Requirements Respondents must include the following information: o Cover letter summarizing qualifications and interest o Relevant Project Experience (preferably with libraries and historic buildings) o Profiles of key personnel who would be involved in the project, including sub- consultants. o Proposed approach to fulfilling the scope of work o Samples of recent relevant work or projects o Cost proposal, detailing a fixed-fee structure o References from at least two recent clients Evaluation Criteria Proposals will be assessed based on: o Relevant experience and qualifications (30%) o Proposed methodology and approach (30%) o Cost and value of services (20%)
