Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Falmouth, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Falmouth Public Works Department seeks qualified contractors to provide bid proposals for the construction of a new parking lot and sidewalks at Underwood Park, located at 254 Foreside Road in Falmouth, ME. Construct Paved Parking Lot: Remove existing tree stumps, excavate and install base gravel, install Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), loam and seed existing parking/driveway area. Install 5' Wide HMA Sidewalks Remove Existing Foundation: Excavate and remove existing concrete foundation. The foundation was for an old schoolhouse and the exact depth and composition is unknown. Note: this work must be completed by August 30th, 2024. There will not be a pre-bid meeting or a live bid opening for this project. All pre-bid correspondence shall be submitted electronically to Justin Early, Town Engineer, at jearly@falmouthme.org. Question Deadline 07/18/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions regarding this bid/proposal will be accepted. The Contractor must complete work on or before October 30th, 2024, except for the concrete foundation removal, which must be done by August 30th, 2024. The Town of Falmouth reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
