The Town of Falmouth Wastewater Department recently located a separated sewer on Johnson Road. The scope of work for this project includes earthwork, including excavation, excavation support, trench dewatering, disposal of materials, backfill and compaction, traffic control, bypass pumping, PVC pipe to replace separated section, and paving that meets Town of Falmouth and State of Maine standards. Refer to the accompanying sketch showing approximate location of the separated pipe on the Plan entitled "Route 1 Sewer Extension Johnson Road STA. 0+00 to 11+15 EAST", dated April 1983. Contractor will be required to obtain all required permits, including but not limited to Street Opening Permit from the Town of Falmouth Public Works Department. The Department would like to have this repair made as soon as possible. Bidders that can complete the work this fall will be considered favorably. All improvements included in the project shall have a one-year warranty. The contractor will not be required to hold any retainage funds.
