Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lewiston, Maine. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
This funding will ensure the completion of the Congressionally Directed Spending funded t-hangar project at the Airport, with a 10 unit hangar, paved apron, and taxi lane connecting to Taxiway Alpha. The project, now fully designed; hasmade clear the actual need tor sponsor contribution to meet the federal match requirements and to cover ineligible items (a restroom for tenants of the hangar). The project design will position the airport with two additional t~hangar sites that are permitted and "shovel ready" for private investment. Both cities have already approved $68,750 for this project last fiscal year. As of February 28, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
