Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lewiston, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work 1. Installation of approximately 1,570 linear feet of 12 - 18 diameter storm drain and drainage structures. 2. Strip and repave all streets within the project area. 3. Installation of approximately 2,400 linear feet of sidewalk and new curb on all streets within the project area. a. All streets except for Whipple Street will have new slipform concrete curb. b. Whipple Street will have new vertical granite curb. All work, including final loaming, must be completed by June 30, 2025. Question Deadline 08/20/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Questions and Requests for Information shall be submitted to Peralie Burbank at pburbank@lewistonmaine.gov. a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, made out in favor of the City of Lewiston. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, preferably executed on AIA Bond Form Number A311, in an amount equal to the total Contract price,
