Sunday River Road multiple locations; Randall Road to Simonds Bridge approximately 2,790'; From just south of 927 Sunday River Road to the curve before Letter S section of road (44.497987, -70.886429), approximately 7200'; driveway 939 Sunday River Road will need 15+' of shimming Lone Pine Road (approximately 5808') and Timberline, Greenbriar and Mills Hill Roads (approximately 5500' with intersections). Provide the necessary supervision, engineering, layout, notifications, materials, and construction of; 3/4" shim lift of Maine DOT Spec. 9.5 mm. shim HMA mix, overlay with a 1" lift of Maine DOT Spec. 9.5mm. surface HMA mix, place 2' wide compacted gravel shoulder backing material entire road length at sections as needed, for all affected areas on these three roads. Please clarify in Bid if any traffic shutdowns and their durations will occur while completing this project. Bidders, before submitting an offer, should become completely familiar with the required work and rely on their investigation, measurements, and calculations for bid purposes. A Municipal Representative is available to show the site(s) of the proposed project. This project shall meet the requirements of the contract, manufacturer's installation instructions and portions of the most recent edition of the Maine Dept. of Transportation Standard Specifications. Project funding will be available July 1, 2026. The Town may accept or reject any and all bids.
