Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in Norway, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a three-story above grade, one-unit multi-residential development.
As of November 26 , 2025, project was awarded to Wayne Kennagh & Sons Excavating , awarded amount is $20,200 The selected contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to obtain all required permits and licenses, notify and confirm all utility disconnections, perform the complete demolition of the residential structure, haul all debris to an approved landfill or recycling facility with proof of disposal, minimize environmental impact and prevent damage to adjacent properties, remove all rubble and debris, remove foundation materials, fill the foundation void with clean fill or approved material, cap sewer and water connections, roughly grade the site for positive drainage, and ensure the site is clean, neat, and safe for future development. Each proposal must include: company information (name, address, contact), a project plan and timeline, and a comprehensive cost proposal itemizing labor, equipment, permits, and disposal fees. All proposals must be valid for at least sixty days. The contractor is responsible for site safety and security. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
