Work generally includes but is not limited to the installation of sewer and drain manholes, catch basins, storm drain and sewer pipelines, general earthwork, riprap slope stabilization, pipeline point repairs, tree removal, roadway pavement repairs, and the maintenance of traffic control. The Contractor shall make note of the schedule and sequence requirements presented in the contract documents. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held. Each prospective bidder will be required to obtain from the City each copy of the proposal form and each set of plans. Bids from vendors not registered with the Purchasing Office may be rejected. Vendors who received the invitation from a source other than the City Purchasing Office should contact the office to ensure listing as a vendor for this bid. SS-01 Frost St Terminus Manhole Install 4' diameter terminus sewer manhole on Frost Street. SS-02 Kenilworth St Terminus Manhole Install 4' diameter terminus sewer manhole on Kenilworth Street. SS-03 Sherwood St Sewer Replacement Replace approx. 50' of crushed 8" vit sewer starting at SSMH-1447. SW-01 Beaumont St Inlet Improvements Install 24" diameter RCP flared end section with trash guard and sign post at SWIN-0551 and replace existing 15" diameter PVC storm drain with a new 24" diameter RCP storm drain (approx. 12 LF). Install 5' by 15' riprap apron with filter fabric. Riprap apron extents shall be coordinated with Portland DPW. SW-02 Curtis Rd Underdrain Install approx. 145 LF of new 10" perforated underdrain and terminate line with new catch basin. Core and connect into SWIN-1838. Install cleanout and connect to SWGM-00643 (12" diameter) with new 6" perforated underdrain and storm drain. Mill and overlay surface pavement as needed to square up trench with roadway. SW-03 Vaill St Point Repair Repair joint offset at last segment of SWGM-04658 (15" RCP) and stabilize embankment around SWDP-1199 with a riprap apron (5' wide and extending 15' beyond the outfall). SW-04 Concord St West Underdrain Install approx. 150 LF of new 6" perforated underdrain connecting to SWIN-3101. SW-05 Ball Park Dr Outfall Repair Install new 4' diameter manhole in location of existing SWDP-0948 and extend 15" storm drain 25 LF towards intermittent brook. Rehabilitate existing embankment and install riprap channel extending 15' beyond new outfall location. Exact riprap channel and outlet location shall be field verified with Portland DPW. Chapter 305 Section 7 PBR standards shall be applied as applicable. SW-06 Ludlow Street Swale Improvements Install an approx. 400' long riprap swale with two proposed 2' diameter catch basins and 320' of 15"- 18" underdrain. Plug and flow fill approx. 115 LF of exist. 12" CMP storm drain. Clearing, tree/stump removal, and regrading to be limited to the extents necessary. SW-07 Westlawn Rd Inlet Improvements Install new 5' diameter catch basin with rectangular high flow double grate in place of SWIN-2647. Field verify exact catch basin location with Portland DPW. SW-08 Washington Ave Drain Manhole Install new 4' diameter storm drain manhole on Washington Ave in location of existing SWFT-0287 and reconnect existing SWGM-10500 AND SWGM05457. Contractor shall test pit location of SWFT0287 to field verify pipe materials, sizes, and inverts prior to purchasing manhole. CONTINGENCY Contingency Bid Items Contingency bid items include work related to removal of existing surfaces or infrastructure, excavation, and labor. Underdrain d. Riprap aprons and swales e. Flow fill and abandonment of existing storm drain f. Existing flow management/ bypass pumping for installation of new storm drain pipes, catch basins, and manholes 3. All related site work including trench excavation, structural rock excavation, support of excavation, groundwater dewatering, tree and stump removal, disposal of excess excavated materials, filter fabric, bedding, backfill, compaction, road/drive subbase, paving, curb restoration,sidewalk restoration,resettingmonuments, loam/seed and landscaping. 4.
