Site work and paving for a road / highway in Readfield, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Readfield seeks proposals from qualified firms to complete various levels of paving on four Town roadways. Lane and North Wayne Roads are to be completed before June 30, 2025. Beaver Dam and Morrill Road are to be completed by the fall of 2025. If the proposer chooses, work can be completed contiguously upon discussion and approval by the Town. 1. Lane Road (.67 miles): Reclaim/fine grading, gravel installation, base paving followed by surface paving, shoulder gravel. Add paved shoulder at the corner of Lane Road/P Ridge Road to limit erosion of road edge. 2. North Wayne Road (.75 miles): Shim and overlay paving, shoulder gravel. 3. Beaver Dam Road (.96 miles): Shim and overlay paving, shoulder gravel. 4. Morrill Road (.25 miles): Overlay paving The Town of Readfield reserves the right to accept any or reject any or all proposals. Proposers may be present at the proposal opening if so desired.
