The Town of Readfield seeks qualified proposals to provide multi-year winter road maintenance services for approximately 35 miles of public road, to include the following; snow and ice removal, provision of sand, mixing and storage of salt and sand, application of salt and sand, and other associated tasks necessary for the general care and maintenance of roads impacted by winter weather. The Town will prioritize Proposals that allow for safe, condition-appropriate travel while delivering value to taxpayers. This contract will begin with the 2026 / 2027 winter season. The Town of Readfield reserves the right to accept any or reject any or all proposals. Proposers may be present at the proposal opening if so desired.
