Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Skowhegan, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of February 14, 2025 , an award has not yet been made. Per the owner, bid results will not be made available until after the award is announced. No time-frame is available for when this project will be awarded** ** As of February 22, 2022, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. PROJECT Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, sanitary and storm sewer improvements on Milburn Street and Michael Street. The work includes traffic control, removal and disposal of existing utility piping, manhole structures and catch basins; 290 tons trench, driveway, sidewalk, and overlay pavement; 250 LF bituminous curb, 350 LF 8"Ø PVC sewer, 240 LF 4"/6" Ø PVC building sewer, 500 LF 12" Ø SICPE storm drain, 4 EA manholes, 6 EA precast drainage structures and all earthwork, erosion control, loam and seeding and site restoration of all disturbed areas and incidentals as required for a complete project. The project also includes Alternate Bid drainage improvements on Water Street including, but not limited to, traffic control, removal and disposal of existing drain piping, 75 tons trench, driveway and sidewalk pavement, granite curb, 150 LF 24" Ø SICPE storm drain, 3 EA precast drainage structures, cast-in-place concrete and all earthwork, erosion control and site restoration of all disturbed areas and incidentals as required. The project must be substantially completed within 150 calendar days and complete within 180 calendar days after the execution of Notice to Proceed. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Owner or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and Surety Company in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 90 days after receipt of bids unless released by Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a Performance and a Payment Bond, each representing 100% of the contract value, at the time of contract execution. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid that it deems to be in its best interests, and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
