As of June 27, 2024, no bids received. The Town of Skowhegan is requesting bids for the remodeling of the Basement Bathroom in the Municipal building. Bid Specs Carpentry Contractor will remodel the existing bathrooms to insure they meet ADA standards. Opening up the center wall to add the hall space to each of the bathrooms Remove existing doors and reuse doors in new location Build an extension center wall to Hall wall Remove existing flooring, level floor and either replace with new waterproof flooring or smooth and seal floor. Men's bathroom- create a new door way in the hallway and reinstall the old door in this location. Women's bathroom reduce the hall opening to fit the relocated door Reposition mirror, soap and paper towel dispenser in both bathrooms Ensure ceiling is finished and all tiles are in good condition in both finished bathrooms Install 2-24inch grab bars behind each toilet Coordinate the relocation of the Sinks to new location Plumbing Contractor will remove the sinks from existing location and relocate to new location Extend water lines and drains to new location of sinks Electrical Remove wire for light in hall and remove light Move light switch and outlet from existing location, to near the new location of the Sink.
