Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Thomaston, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of reconstructing the roadway, curbing, sidewalks, and drainage of Knox Street, from Main Street to Fluker Street, and replacement of a drainage line along Fluker Street, in Thomaston, Maine.Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis,as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid Documents will not be mailed. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bid Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Outside envelope shall be plainly marked: Knox Street Improvements - Phase 1,Not to be opened until 2:00 p.m. on April 23, 2025.Bidder may be represented at bid opening if so desired. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. The Town of Thomaston reserves the right to waive any informality in bids, to accept any bid, and to reject any or all bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the Town to do so. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
