Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Thomaston, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Town of Thomaston is requesting bids for paving Beechwood Street, starting at 298 Beechwood St. to Jacobs Ln (200 Beechwood St.), covering approximately 5,000 feet by 22.5 feet by 1.5 inches, totaling approximately 1,029 tons. The butt joints at both ends of the street and connecting side streets must be ground by the paving contractor. No tack is required for paving and no RAP is to be used in the asphalt paving. Two rollers are required to roll the asphalt paving. The paving contractor must provide work area signs and flaggers. The Town of Thomaston will sweep the roads and raise sewer manholes and catch basins. Bids must be marked as 'Paving Bids' and will be opened at the Thomaston Municipal Building. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
