The Town of Turner is now accepting bids for hot mix shimming and surface paving. Bids will be reviewed by the Board of Selectmen and awarded to the bidder that best meets the needs of the town. Dow Farm Road - From East Hebron Road to Jennifer Drive. Shim and pave to 1" compacted depth. Estimated 1,600 feet by 20 feet width.Pearl Road - Entire Length from Upper Street to Lower Street. Shim and pave to 1" compacted depth. Estimated 3,880 feet by 20 feet width. 3. Mason Road - From Route 4 back to Route 4. Shim and pave to 1" compacted depth. Estimated 3,049 by 20 feet width. 4. Poplar Hill Road - From Upper Street to end. Shim and pave to 1" compacted depth. Estimated 3,900 feet by 20 feet width. 5. Orchard Way - Pave only the washout repair sites, now filled with gravel, and the intersection with North Parish Road. Areas are between North Parish Road and stream. 6. Poland Road - From Lower Street to end. Shim and pave to 1" compacted depth. Estimated 735 feet by 20 feet width. 7. Heiken Drive - From Johnson Hill Road to end. Shim and pave to 1" compacted depth. Estimated 1,290 feet by 20 feet width. 8. Mooselook Drive - From Center Bridge Road to end. Shim and pave to 1" compacted depth. Estimated 930 feet by 20 feet width. 9. Plains Road - From Tidswell Road to Howes Corner Road. Pave to 1" compacted depth. Estimated 15,454 feet by 20 feet width. 10. Pit Road - From Turner Highway Garage 335' t Section 2 - Description of Work Work shall consist of installing asphalt base, shim and surface pavement on the roadways described in Section 1.
