The Town of Turner is seeking qualified bidders to provide grounds maintenance for public grassed areas during the 2026 mowing season. The work includes spring cleanup of each cemetery site with raking and debris removal as required. The public sports fields on Cobb Road and at the BQMC on Howes Corner Road require special attention throughout the season to support reasonable play for practices and games. Coordination with the Turner Athletic Association is required to ensure fields are maintained in playable condition for scheduled activities. Flags supplied by the Town must be placed on approximately 30 Veterans graves and two monuments before Memorial Day. The season runs from April 15, 2026, to October 31, 2026, or as areas require mowing. All bids must be submitted in a sealed and clearly marked envelope to the Turner Town Office by 2:00 p.m. on April 6, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened at that time. Electronic submission is also accepted. The Town of Turner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids at the discretion of the Municipal Officers, as deemed in the best interest of the Town.
