As of February 19, 2025, construction has started on this project. Project Overview: The project site is situated on Front Street in downtown Waterville, encompassing approximately 1.7 acres. The work involves abatement of hazardous materials and demolition of existing structures, preparing the site for future development. The site comprises five municipal parcels in the City of Waterville: 19 Temple Street, 17 Temple Street, 52- 54 Front Street, 56 Front Street, and 60 Front Street. These properties are the subject of a master planned redevelopment project called Head of Falls Village ("HoFV"), which consists of two newly-constructed buildings totaling 78,000 GSF, 15,000 GSF of commercial and retail space, and 63 rental apartments. The building program will be preceded by an extensive site work and infrastructure project, which will include soil remediation work. The contracts for the infrastructure and building projects will be bid separately in 2025.
