Request for Proposals The City of Waterville is soliciting bids for the fabrication and installation of handrails at our Appleton Street Pocket Park. Work includes fabrication and installing new handrails as well as installation of handrail ends at the Waterville Public Library. The City of Waterville is seeking bids from qualified metal fabricators for the fabrication and installation of 70 feet of handrail at the new Appleton Street pocket park, and welding and painting 2 rail extensions to the existing library railing. Rail extensions have been removed for sidewalk construction and will be furnished to the successful bidder. PROPOSED SCOPE OF SERVICES The successful bidder will fabricate and install handrail at the Appleton Street pocket park to match the existing handrail at the Waterville Public Library. The handrail will be of the same material and will be powder coated to match the same color as the Waterville Public Library handrail. The handrail will be surface mounted to the side of the retaining wall with a minimum of 2 concrete anchors per post.
