Goal 3.2: Promoting alternative means by which residents and businesses can access renewable energy without having to install or operate equipment, as the municipal investment provides a model and direct benefit to the town's energy profile. Project Goal: Install a roof-mounted solar PV system at the York Village Fire Station. Anticipated Annual Output: The system is estimated to generate approximately 35,000 kWh/year. Project Deliverables: A complete, professionally installed, and fully operational solar PV system, interconnected with the utility grid. Training for Fire Station staff on basic system monitoring (if applicable). Continuous performance monitoring to ensure optimal energy production. Scheduled maintenance and cleaning as per manufacturer's recommendations.
