Renovation of a fire / police facility in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Town of Gibraltar is accepting bids to furnish and install commercial garage doors on the Gibraltar Fire Station at 3496 County Hwy F, Fish Creek, WI 54212. Additionally, your bid must reflect additional work (labor) to install four (4) of the removed doors on the newly built Chambers Island municipal storage facility. The Town Board will review the bids at the April 9, 2025 Town Board meeting. The eight (8) doors need to a minimum of 26 ga thickness inside and out with a minimum of R-15 insulation value. The doors are 12 2 wide by 14 tall and will need to be of sandstone or tan color. One panel line will contain three (3) clear glass windows. The Town would prefer sandwich micro grooved panels. The door track can remain, but we will require new springs, cables and spring rods. Additionally, your bid must reflect additional work (labor) to install four (4) of the removed doors on the newly built Chambers Island municipal storage facility, providing new tracks, springs and cables. All twelve (12) door openings will require exterior seals replaced. The fire station doors will need to be removed and replaced first. The Town will store and deliver the removed panels to the Island building for assembly when the building is ready, no later than September 1, 2025. A ride to and from the Island will be provided through the Town of Gibraltar.
