The project consists of the following approximate quantities: Section 1 includes 11,763 SY Bituminous Seal Coat, 1,950 LF Crack Sealing, 7 Ton HBP Patching, 1 LS Mobilization, 1 LS Traffic Control, 3,906 LF Pavement Marking, and other miscellaneous items and incidentals. Section 2 includes 3,373 SY Bituminous Seal Coat, 1,000 LF Crack Sealing, 4 Ton HBP Patching, 1 LS Mobilization, 1 LS Traffic Control, 1,980 Pavement Marking and other miscellaneous items and incidentals. Section 3 includes 1,698 SY Bituminous Seal Coat, 29 Ton HBP Patching, 1 LS Mobilization, 1 LS Traffic Control, 906 LF Pavement Marking, 1,698 SY Bituminous Milling, 206 TONS Commercial Grade Asphalt and other miscellaneous items and incidentals. Section 4 includes 1 SY Bituminous Seal Coat, 1 LF Crack Sealing, 1 Ton HBP Patching, 1 LS Traffic Control, 1 LS Pavement Marking, 1 TON Commercial Grade Asphalt, 1 SY Bituminous Milling and other miscellaneous items and incidentals. Traffic Control and all miscellaneous work necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Each bid will be submitted on the basis of a cash payment for work. Bids submitted via QuestCDN On-Line Bid Only and shall be designated that the bid is for " NDSCS Bid No. 25-007 Parking Lot Seal Coating (Lots 1, 3A, 3D, 3E, 3W, 12, 15 & 16) and Mill and Overlay (Lot 8), Wahpeton, North Dakota ." The bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond in a separate envelope in the amount of five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety Company authorized to do business in North Dakota. If the Principal's bid is accepted by the OWNER and the contract awarded, the principal, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award, will be required to execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of the principal's bid and any requirements and conditions of the Owner. A Contractor's Bond, as required by Section 48-01.2-10 of the North Dakota Century Code, shall be included with the executed Contract Documents. The Bid Security shall be as required in Section 48-01.2-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as required by Section 43-07-07 of the North Dakota Century Code and a copy of the license or certificate of renewal thereof issued shall be included electronically with the bid. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to Bond and Licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will not be accepted and opened. North Dakota State College of Science retains the right to reject any or all of the bids submit-ted and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold all bids for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from said date of opening and to hold the three low bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from said date of bid opening. The work is to commence upon a date to be specified by the OWNER, notice of which will be given to the suc-cessful bidder ten (10) days in advance of the start of construc-tion. The Contractor will be required to commence construction and substantially complete all of the work for the project by August 9, 2025. The successful Bidder is required at the time the Contract is executed to provide a Sales Tax Certificate, Workers' Compensation Certificate, Certificate of Insurance to include North Dakota Stop Gap and Builder's Risk coverage, Company Safety Manual, North Dakota University System Performance-Payment Bond and Waiver of Subrogation
