Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Northfield, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
Reconstruction of CSAH 86 (280th Street) from east of CSAH 23 (Foliage Avenue) to Trunk Highway 3 in Eureka, Castle Rock, Waterford and Greenvale Townships. The project will include turnlanes, shoulder widening, culvert replacement and a new bridge. This project will improve CSAH 86 roadway operations, make safety improvements and provide for the increased traffic levels. This Project has been moved from Transportation CIP to Sales & Use Tax CIP. Original Transportation number was 86-34. As of September 20, 2021, this project is currently in the FY 2021-2025 CIP . Construction documents are 99% to completion. The County is waiting for the Union Pacific Railroad Agreement before bidding the project. Once complete, the project will be advertised for bid publicly on Quest.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
