Site work and renovation of a civil project in Northfield, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
1. Remove and replace Influent Lift Station Pumps 1 and 2 and components. Influent Lift Station building mechanical components to be upgraded. 2. Remove and replace slide gates, clarifier components, and mechanical components, and install clarifier bypass flange and phosphorus analyzer in the pretreatment/clarifier building. 3. Install biosolids control manhole in between the pretreatment/clarifier building and the new biosolids storage tank. 4. Remove and replace 11 BAF blowers, controls, and electrical components in the BAF building, along with required mechanical upgrades and new gate valves on BAF influent lines. 5. Demolish existing biosolids storage tank and construct new cast-in-place biosolids storage tank, along with a new concrete block biosolids storage control building. 6. Interior updates in the control/operations building, including floor, walls, and layout configuration. 7. New controls and components for the Biological Aerated Filters (BAF). 8. Remove and replace roofs, along with installing solar panels on the following buildings: pretreatment/clarifier building, BAF building, controls/operations building and biosolids process building, and UV disinfection. 9. New HVAC units throughout the facility as noted. 10. New electrical and control work as noted. 11. Overall site work including bituminous driveway removal and replacement, and installing new fencing and gates.
