BP#2 - Warming House / Shelter Replacement and Site Upgrades Project consists of General Construction for the Babcock Park Warming House / Shelter, single story building with pavilion. Building portion is approximately 1100 square foot including CMU/GCMU walls, fiber cement cladding, and wood truss roof and wood decking structure. Attached pavilion portion has GCMU columns and wood deck with wood glu-gam beam / truss roof structure. Work includes demolition of the existing bathroom / concessions structure, related foundations, and utilities. Scope of Work includes related Architectural, Landscape, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical elements. Site Work includes demolition of existing concrete / wood stepped seating, softball backstops, and fencing. Site Work includes new stepped seating, plaza, softball field backstops / fencing, covered dugouts, retention basin, paving, associated landscaping / civil Work, and associated site electrical Work. Work includes installation of pre-purchased sports lighting poles / assemblies / fixtures for softball field and adjacent outdoor hockey rink. Work of this project shall conform to the B3 State of Minnesota Sustainable Building Guidelines (v3.2), Small Buildings Method. Awarded Contractor shall be required to participate in the required tracking and reporting associated with the B3 Guidelines.
